Lund and Chrisler Perform Well at State CC Meet
On a cool Saturday morning, Ashton Lund and Carley Chrisler competed at the State Cross Country Meet in Wamego. Ashton finished the 5K race in 21 minutes, 42.27 seconds and earned the 17th place medal. To earn a medal, a runner must finish in the top 20. She also set a new school record breaking Kayley Chrisler's mark of 22:16.87 set in 2016. Carley was the 48th runner to cross the finish line out of 84 girls in the 1A division. She ran her best time of the year at 23:49.49. Congratulations to both girls on an excellent finish to the season.
