About Mrs. Zeigler
My name is Annette Zeigler and I have been a teacher for 16 years. I have taught 4th grade and kindergarten during that time frame. I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University. Go Wildcats!
I have lived in the Natoma area with my husband for 20 years. We have two children and live on a farm.
My hobbies include attending all of my children’s events, flower gardening, reading and exercising.
I am a life long learner and hope to instill that same goal in my students. I feel so blessed to be a part of the Natoma School District and community!

Kindergarten Site Words
Sight words are words that a reader instantly knows without having to sound out. Most children already have these words in their spoken vocabularies. If a reader can instantly say these words, then they can focus more on unknown words along with comprehension.

Number Poems
The following are the number poems we use in class. These poems will help remind your child how to write his or her numbers correctly.
0 Around we go, that's the way to make a zero.
1 One is fun.
2 Around the track and back. Two, two, two.
3 Around the tree, around the tree, this is how we make a three.
4 Down and over and down some more, this is how we make a four.
5 Down and around, put a hat on top. Five, five, five.
6 Down and make a loop, six rolls a hula hoop.
7 Across the sky and down from heaven, this is how we make a seven.
8 Make an S and don’t be late. Come straight up and it makes an eight.
9 Make a circle and then a line. This is how we make a nine.
