Cross Country Runs Well at Ness City -- Captures 2nd Place Team Honors
Natoma Cross Country traveled to the Ness County Golf Course to compete in the Ness City Invitational on Thursday, October 1. There were eight full boys teams competing (50 total runners) and the boys earned 2nd place behind Scott City. Dean Masters took 4th in 18:42.00; Taitem Zeigler was 14th in 19:32.09; Joey Raat was 16th in 19:34.65; Grady was 25th in 20:14.00; and James Maupin completed the Tiger runners as he ran to a 30th place finish in 21:26.00. Dylan Pruter finished 5th in the JV race that had 15 runners. He ran a time of 22:28.00. Everyone had their best times of the year and some had their career best.
The Tigers will compete at Ellsworth on Tuesday, October 6 and at Lincoln on Thursday, October 8. They will complete the regular season at Lakeside on Thursday, October 15.
